The most popular cushion fillings are:

Where to Buy Inserts

The main thing to look for when buying a cushion insert is how much filling is actually in the insert.  The more full, the better.

Some good places to try:

Inner Green - feather and eco filling

Pottery Barn - duck feather inserts

If you can find Downia feather inserts, they are really good

Beware - Some of the larger home goods stores offer inserts for a cheap price, but they are often flat as a pancake and do nothing to make your cushions look good.  Like we said CUSHION INSERTS MAKE ALL THE DIFFERENCE.
