More About Our Lamp Shades
All lamp shades have a flame retardant backing, and come fitted with an Australian fitting 2"/5cm from the bottom edge of the lampshade. The fitting is the Australian standard with a 29mm ring. European lamps need a 42mm ring.
Our Tapered shades have a top diameter 2"/5cm less that the bottom diameter, so the lamp shade sides have a gentle slope. The fabric for the shade is cut in a curved line so the pattern repeat will change slightly around the lamp shade.
Tapered shades are good for bedside lamps and table lamps up against a wall as you do not see the back of the lamp shade.
Unfortunately due to the fragile nature of lamp shades and the associated freight costs, we are not able to offer lamp shades for international delivery. If you want a lamp shade in one of our fabrics, we recommend that your order 1 metre of fabric and then source a local lamp shade maker (try searching for lamp shade makers in your area on Google or Etsy).
